Summer, like most of the Lane family, has long since moved out of the Lawndale house. She has four kids of her own (Adrian, Courtney, and two others), though it's unclear whether she's currently married. She's definitely had at least one failed marriage, but the circumstances are unknown.

She seems to harbor some resentment toward the family home, claiming it's the last place on Earth she'd ever want to be.
