EDWARDS, KEN
"Oh, Tiffany, Tiffany! I never got to hear you call me 'Ken'!" |
|
Substitute teacher. Ken is one of several substitutes brought in by Ms. Li during the Lawndale High teacher's strike. He takes over O'Neill's English class for a short time. Unfortunately, it turns out that Ken's primary motivator has a lot less to do with teaching English than it does with getting far too personal with his female students. He describes a novel he's writing, about a "slightly older, sensitive man and the love a budding woman-child feels for him when she gets to know him better." He shows particular interest in
Tiffany - who's too clueless to realize he's hitting on her. Fortunately,
Quinn reports these indiscretions to her mother, and
Helen sees to it that Ken is fired. Unfortunately,
Daria is compelled to take his place.
