Jett is one of several young artists Jane meets during her summer at the artist's colony. Jett seems only slightly less stuck up than Jane's other housemates (Caroline, Anaïs, and Paris) if only because she at least takes a moment to compliment Jane on her haircut when she first arrives. Jett herself is dark-complexioned with blonde hair done in a trendy style.
When Jane gets a phone call from Daria, Jett is the one who tells her about it.
