Joanne lived at the "Our Furry and Scaly Friends" pet store at the mall, under the care of Mr. Matthews, the manager. He claims Joanna wouldn't hurt a fly, which is likely true, but there's no guarantee she wouldn't rough up a human being.

A prize boa, Joanna retails for $1,000.

When Quinn borrows the lid to her enclosure to put some puppies on, Joanne escapes from the pet store. She is eventually found by Joey, and expresses her gratitude by attempting to strangle him. Joey ran screaming from the store - Joanne's fate is unknown to this day.
