The Nutty World Manager seems to consider his job to be important, even though all he's doing is running an nut stand. He gives Daria a big speech about how he only hires the most carefully screened and qualified candidates, and then hires Kevin.

He quickly becomes exasperated during the training process, in which Kevin is incapable of remembering the store's slogan, and Daria refuses to smile for longer than a quarter-second at a time.

The Manager names Daria employee of the day, despite her habit of not smiling. Unfortunately, he soon loses her as Jane puts a conspiracy into effect that makes Helen think he's showing favoritism to Kevin. The Manager is reduced to tears over this.

"It's a Nutty, Nutty, Nutty World" is a client of Jake Morgendorffer Consulting.  It is unknown what effect, if any Daria's brief term of employment had on Jake's contract with them.
