This guy apparently joins in a crowd with some of Jane's housemates, particularly Caroline and Paris. Like them, he is completely taken with Daniel Dotson's "talent" as an artist, though there is nothing to suggest that (also like them) he is attracted to Daniel in any other way. In fact, he suggests in a derisive way that Paris has taken such liberties.
