Tatiana seems to be an analog of Tiffany from Quinn's youth. Along with two other girls named Cindy and Tracy, they served essentially the same purpose that in more modern times is served by the fashion club - Quinn's popular, manipulative, and jealous "friends" with whom she is hardly ever seen without.

Upon her first meeting with Quinn, Tatiana remarked on how pale Daria looked. Quinn explained that Daria was her distant cousin (the first time she ever referred to Daria as such).

Tatiana is decent enough to say "sorry" when Tracy decides to ditch Quinn and takes Tatiana and Cece with her.
